CeBIT 2013

cebitFLASH™ was presented during the world’s largest computer expo CeBIT that took place between 5th and 9th of March 2013 in Hannover, Germany. Poland was the official Partner Country for this year’s event and the polish LIREC project representatives were invited to participate in the expo by the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education prof. Barbara Kudrycka. The FLASH™ attracted a lot of attention. Hundreds of people interacted and played with him. CeBIT was a great opportunity for visitors to see very different types of robots produced for research or commercial purposes (e.g. humanoids giving information, robot arms drawing portraits, kitchen help robot). FLASH™ and EMYS™ were interesting variations of robotic products, different in size from the other robots exhibited, focusaed on the game companion, expressive behavior and emotion recognition.
